Each equipment has several available fields where user will enter info. All fields are searchable.

Standardized fields are:

  • Name: Provided by the user (Required) - Here user enters the name of the equipment which identifies what type of equipment it is.
  • Description: Provided by the user (Optional) - Here user enters a brief description of the equipment which might include what purpose the equipment fulfills, how it operates any troubleshooting mechanism for the equipment.
  • Compliance: Selected by the user (Optional) - Here user selects and associates any healthcare compliance codes with the equipment which might govern the functioning, handling, troubleshooting and maintenance of the equipment. 
  • Install Date: Provided by the user (Optional) - Here user selects the date from a calendar which is the date on which the equipment is installed on the campus premises.
  • Warranty expires: Provided by the user (Optional) - Here user selects the date from a calendar which is the date on which the equipment warranty provided by the manufacturer or the seller expires.
  • Manufacturer: Provided by the user (Optional) - Here user enters the name of the manufacturing company that manufactured/build/assembled the equipment.
  • Model: Provided by the user (Optional) - Here user enters the model no. of the equipment provided by the manufacturer.
  • Serial Number: Provided by the user (Optional) - Here user enters the Serial No. of the equipment provided by manufacturer, dealer or seller.
  • Type: Provided by the user (Optional) - Here user enters the type (or category) of the equipment based on the function or service it provides (for example, it can be of type Air Conditioner or Cooler etc.)

  • Enter general info of an equipment like name (mandatory), install date, warranty expiration date, description. 
  • Enter manufacturer/model info of an equipment like manufacturer name, type, model and serial no.
  • Select the Compliance codes which can be associated with an equipment by clicking the [Plus] button

User is navigated to the Compliance module of the campus where user needs to select the Compliance codes which govern the functioning, handling, troubleshooting and maintenance of the equipment.


Note: Entering name of the equipment is absolutely mandatory. Otherwise user won’t be able to save the equipment info in the application.
