PINs are created for different maps: Equipment map, Shut-off map (under Emergency and Building Plans), and Emergency Equipment map. Each map has specific PINs:
- Equipment PINs for large and heavy equipment (e.g., AC, lift).
- Shut-off PINs for utilities (e.g., water, gas, electric etc.).
- Emergency Equipment PINs for items like fire extinguishers and alarms.
Each floor plan is accessed through its respective widget:
- The Equipment map widget displays Equipment PINs on the floor plan.
- The Emergency Equipment and Shut-off widgets display their respective PINs on the floor plan.
Screenshot below displays the floor plan with Equipment identified using PINs:
You will be able to change/switch the floor plan from the top drop-down like Emergency, Shut-offs for the same floor of the same building. This is essentially the same floor plan with different PINs created on it.
The floor plan heading (displayed alongside the name) corresponds to the PIN category/type selected during PIN creation. For example, if you create a Shut-off PIN on the first floor of the Main Building:
- Go to the Building Plans widget from the Campus Dashboard.
- Navigate to Main Building > Shut-off Map > First Floor.
- Click on the first floor, The floor plan will open in the Viewer with the heading ‘Shut-off’, showing the Shut-off PIN.
You can view the Shut-off map for the same floor of another building by the changing the ‘Building’ from the drop-down.
